How GuruXO earns revenue

GuruXO allows eligible providers and software companies to purchase featured visibility on selected pages within the directory. This is our primary source of revenue.

Paid placements are always clearly labelled as Featured. This label appears on provider cards, listing sections and profile pages wherever a paid placement is active.

What paid placement does and does not affect

• Featured placement increases visibility only — it places the provider in a clearly labelled featured section.
• Featured placement does not mean GuruXO has verified the provider.
• Featured placement does not alter the provider's review scores or rating calculations.
• Featured placement does not influence the organic ranking of other providers.
• Verification is awarded independently based on business information review and cannot be purchased.

How to identify paid placements

Any provider benefiting from a paid placement will show a visible Featured badge. Sections containing featured results are labelled “Featured Providers”.

Users can always browse and compare organic listings independently in the “All Providers” section.

Reviews and ratings

GuruXO reviews are submitted by users and moderated by our team. Payment by a provider never influences whether reviews are published, suppressed or modified. Providers cannot pay to remove or alter reviews.
